After the International Game Technology (IGT) accused the GB Gambling Commission of the failure related to issuing the fourth UK National Lottery license, the High Court decided to dismiss the case.
The fourth license disagreement:
The Commission issued the fourth license to Allwyn in September 2022, and this decision was announced to the public a few months before, in March 2022.
This decision greatly affected Camelot, which was the national lottery operator in the UK for almost three decades.

On July 28th, the long process was finally over, and the Court decided to dismiss the claim. The reason for dismissal was that IGT doesn’t have any legal reasons to require the damages claims against the UK Commission.
